                               Additional Listing

An application has been made by Amlin plc (the 'Company') for 788,795 ordinary
shares of 25p each to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The shares have been
issued fully paid and rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary shares of the Company.

These shares were issued pursuant to the Amlin Executive Share Option Scheme
1997 (unapproved).
