Statement re: IMS and reporting timetable 2008


Associated British Foods plc will issue its first interim management statement
in accordance with the requirements of the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency rules, on Thursday 17 January 2008.  The period covered by this
statement will be the 16 weeks to 5 January 2008.

The Company will announce its interim results for the 24 weeks ending 1 March
2008 on 22 April 2008.  The pre-close trading update will be issued on 25
February 2008.   The second interim management statement covering the 40 weeks
to 21 June will be released on 10 July 2008.  Preliminary results for the year
ending 13 September 2008 will be announced on 4 November 2008, with a pre-close
trading update issued on 8 September 2008.
