Directorate Changes


Associated British Foods plc announces that the Rt.Hon. Lord MacGregor and Mike
Alexander, independent non-executive directors, will not be seeking re-election
to the board at its annual general meeting to be held on 7th December 2007.


The board thanks Lord MacGregor and Mike Alexander for their valuable
contributions whilst members of the board.


Tim Clarke will thereupon act as the senior independent director.
