Associated British Foods plc ('the Company') was notified on 17 January 2011 that John Bason, Finance Director, had acquired 220 ordinary shares in the Company on 14 January 2011, at a price of £11.32 per share, as a result of his participation in the Associated British Foods plc Dividend Re-investment Plan.
