In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') announces that Javier Ferrán, a non-executive director of the Company, has advised the Company that, with effect from 28 May 2016, he was appointed as a non-executive director of Coca-Cola European Partners plc, which is listed on Euronext London, Euronext Amsterdam, the New York Stock Exchange and Spanish stock exchanges.
