Further to our announcement yesterday pursuant to section 198 of the Companies
Acts 1985 that the number of Associated British Engineering plc ordinary shares
in which Mrs P M Tucker is interested in was 52,000 shares, equivalent to 3.96%
of the issued ordinary capital, would you please note that Mr J P Tucker no
longer has a notifiable interest in Associated British Engineering plc ordinary
shares.
