AssetCo wins Northumbria Police contract

AssetCo plc (AIM:ASTO), the integrated support services company, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the vehicle conversions contract by the Northumbria Police Force.

The contract demonstrates AssetCo's ability to develop its business in all areas of the UK's emergency service market. The Company already provides a range of support services for the Fire and Ambulance Services.

AssetCo will provide complex integration services on a mixture of operational, traffic and covert vehicles. The integration plan includes state of the art DVR-camera systems assisting Northumbria Police with evidence gathering. The Company has worked closely with partner BMW Authorities to develop a 'no holes' installation system for vehicles used in delivering emergency services, the approach reduces trauma to vehicles as a result of the installation process, promotes greater residual values and improves conversion timescales. A number of the vehicles being provided are ballistically protected.
