Board Change

The Board of ASOS plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Ashton to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer and to the main Board of the company. Helen will take up her roles on 1^st September 2015 and succeeds Nick Beighton in the role, who is now Group Chief Operating Officer.

Helen has held a wide variety of senior management positions, including at Barclaycard, Lloyds Banking Group and most recently, debt management business Capquest. She has also held roles at ASDA Group and at GUS, amongst other companies.

Nick Robertson, Group CEO said "Helen brings an unusual combination of deep financial experience, combined with her track record in consumer facing and retail businesses. Helen has also been involved in significant change management situations and has demonstrated great leadership capability. We are delighted that Helen is joining us. This appointment also frees up Nick Beighton to focus completely on his operational responsibilities".

My time in financial services has been a great experience, but the role at ASOS fits perfectly with what I want to do now, enabling me to build on my passion for consumer facing businesses and retail specifically".
