EDINBURGH DRAGON TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


08 February 2008, Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc purchased 110,000 of its own 20p
ordinary shares at 153.8 pence per share for cancellation. Following the buy
back, there are 234,095,375 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be
financed out of the capital reserve.
