Repayment of $80,000,000 7.26% loan notes

The Board of Directors of Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc announce the repayment of the $80 million loan notes with effect on 30 December 2008, the final repayment date. The repayment was financed out of cash balances held by the Company.

As previously announced, the Company has implemented a £40 million multi-currency loan facility. To date there have been no drawdowns on this facility.
