EDINBURGH DRAGON TRUST PLC


Application has today been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for a listing of 51,722 ordinary shares of 20 pence each to be
admitted to the Official List, these shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary shares.

These ordinary shares are being allotted pursuant to the exercise of rights to
subscribe for such ordinary shares of 20 pence each in accordance with the
rights of Warrant holders.
