Investments B.V.'

                       Anite Group plc ('the Company')

                      ----------------------------------

An additional application has been made to the Financial Services Authority
for a total of 236,033 Ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be admitted
to the Official List and the London Stock Exchange plc for trading.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 14 August 2001 and that
trading will commence on 15 August 2001

These shares are being issued as consideration for the assignment by R&P
investments B.V. of its rights under a software lease contract between R&P and
Host Marriott Services to Anite Benelux B.V., a subsidiary of the Company

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary shares.
