                       Anite Group plc (the 'Company')

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange plc and the UK Listing
Authority for 99,602 Ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be admitted to
the Official List. It is expected that admission to admit the new shares will
be granted on 02 April 2001 and that dealings will commence on 03 April 2001.

These shares are being issued as deferred consideration relating to the
Company's acquisition of the ORBIS business from Business Computer Technology
Limited on 03 December 1999.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary shares.
