Dividend Declaration

Interim dividend for 6 months ended 31 December 2006

Further to the earlier announcement of its maiden interim results for the six
months ended 31 December 2006, Ashmore Group plc confirms that the maiden
interim dividend of 2.30p per share will be paid on 27 April 2007 to those
members on the register at the close of business on 30 March 2007.
