Ariana Resources plc  ("the Company"), the  gold exploration  company
focused on Turkey,  announces that it  received notification on  25th
September  2007  that  Starvest  plc.  now  owns  7,500,000   Shares,
representing a holding in the Company's enlarged issued share capital
following the Further Placing announced on the 27th September 2007 of
10.5%.
