                               DIRECTORATE CHANGE


Ariana Resources plc ('Ariana' or 'the Company'), the gold exploration company
focused exclusively on Turkey, announces that Matthew Grainger, Operations
Director, is to step down from the Company in order for him to develop new
business opportunities.


Michael Spriggs, Non-Executive Chairman, commented:

'As one of the founder directors of Ariana, Matthew has played an important part
in the technical and corporate development of the Company over the last four
years. He has assisted with the development of our powerful exploration database
and played an integral part in the Company's successful admission to AIM and
recent £2m financing. With a strong balance sheet in place and the emphasis of
the Company's activities now on detailed exploration and follow-up drilling,
Matthew has decided to seek new challenges.'


The Board would like to thank Matthew for his considerable contribution and
wishes him every success in his future endeavours.'
