AGM Statement

Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC 28 November 2005 RNS Release 28 November 2005 AGM statement Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC ('KTS'), provider of professional financial information services, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 9.00am today at which Chief Executive Marc Pinter-Krainer provides the following update on current developments. Dr. Marc Pinter-Krainer says: Since we reported our full-year results on 12th October 2005, we have made progress on additional revenue-enhancing initiatives. From constant contact with our customer base of financial institutions, there is a clearly discernible trend for financial professionals to spend more time with clients and less time at their desks monitoring market moves. Accordingly, we see significant growth opportunities to deliver our MarketTerminal service to handheld devices such as Blackberries, other popular types of PDA and to the growing number of laptops fitted with the appropriate wireless connectivity. Users can already subscribe to receive MarketTerminal on PDAs running the Microsoft Pocket PC operating system and the Blackberry handheld. Our goal is to offer the best 'one-stop solution' for mobile financial information, and we are in discussions with mobile network operators and other hardware suppliers to extend our presence in the mobile market data space. Using the advantages of our technology to organise and display both live and historic financial data in an easy to understand manner on individual desktops, we are exploring opportunities to help financial institutions integrate their internal data and research with exchange information. This approach would provide a possible route to supplying a fully-integrated MarketTerminal display application, with clients subscribing to exchange data in addition to being able to view their own internally-generated information. We believe that this type of data interface service offers significant revenue potential. From 1st January 2006, we will be integrating our live market data service under the single MarketTerminal(R) brand. This will have a number of benefits including a clearer brand identity. Not only will we be able to tailor our services more precisely to each customer's needs, it will also provide opportunities to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU).
