2005 comparatives supplementary to Preliminary Announcement

In the consolidated income statement issued with the Preliminary Announcement on
20 March 2007, the 2006 figures were correctly stated and the 2005 earnings per
share figure was correctly stated as 45.8p. However, the 2005 earnings per
share before exceptional items is 32.6p (instead of 34.8p as stated in the
announcement) and the exceptional item is 13.2p (instead of 11.0p as stated in
the announcement).
