DIVIDEND - DETERMINATION OF STERLING EQUIVALENT







At the Annual General Meeting of Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc held on 1 June
2007, shareholders approved the payment of a final and only dividend of 10.8
cents in respect of the year ended 31 December 2006.



The sterling equivalent of this dividend has been determined at the exchange
rate ruling at the date of closure of the register on 8 June 2007.



Shareholders who have elected to receive their dividend in Sterling will
therefore receive 5.46 pence per share payable on 9 July 2007.
