Anglo American plc ("Anglo American") notes the announcement by the Office of
Fair Trading regarding the decision to refer the Offer by Anglo American for
Johnston Group to the Competition Commission.
Anglo American is considering its options in respect of its Offer for Johnston
Group and will make a further announcement in due course.
