DIRECTOR/PDMR INTERESTS

On 30 April 2008, the Company was advised by its South African Transfer
Secretaries that the following director and Person Discharging Managerial
Responsibility ("PDMR") of the Company each acquired shares of US$0.54945 in the
capital of the Company (the "Shares") at a price of R485.3216 per Share, in
terms of the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP"):

   • N F Oppenheimer, a director of the Company acquired 1 Share; and
   • P M Baum, a PDMR of the Company acquired 448 Shares.
