Anglo American PLC 16 October 2002 News Release 16 October 2002 Anglo American receives credit ratings from Moody's and Standard & Poor's Anglo American plc ("Anglo American") is pleased to announce that it has received credit ratings of A3 (long term) and Prime-2 (short term) from Moody's Investor Service and A- (long term) and A-2 (short term) from Standard & Poor's.
