Interim Results for the six months ended 30 June 2001
Please note that, on 6 September 2001, the Board of Anglo American plc (the
'Company') will be meeting to consider the interim results of the Company for
the six months to 30 June 2001. An announcement will be issued at the opening of
business on Wednesday, 7 September 2001.
