PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING

Andrews Sykes Group plc announces that today it purchased for cancellation
20,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 114.5p per share.

The issued share capital of the Company is now 72,530,672 Ordinary Shares.

The Company also announces that Jacques Gaston Murray, a director of the
Company, today sold 20,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 114.5p per share.  Mr J
G Murray is now interested in 50,636,257 Ordinary Shares in the Company
representing 69.81 per cent. of the issued share capital.
