The Board wishes to announce that Robert John Stevens yesterday resigned as a
Director of Andrews Sykes Group plc to pursue early retirement.


Robert was appointed to the Board in January 2000 as Chief Executive. Since that
time he has been responsible for the development of the Group's strategy to
ensure that the group remains a market leader. The Board would like to take this
opportunity to thank Robert for all his hard work and dedication to the Company
and wish him a long and successful retirement.


The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Thomas Wood (aged 43
years) as Director of Operations with immediate effect. Paul has vast experience
in the industry having originally joined the group in August 1978. The Board
looks forward to working with him over the coming years.
