                           Directors Shareholding

On 13 June 2001 Mr JC Pillios, a director of the Company, exercised 275,000
options to acquire shares in the Company at an exercise price of 22.4p per
share.

Following this, Mr JC Pillios' resultant beneficial holding is 1,038,580
representing 1.24 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
