                            Directors Shareholding

On 4 May 2001 Mr JC Pillios, a director of the Company, exercised 350,000
options to acquire shares in the Company at an exercise price of 22.44p per
share.

Following this, Mr JC Pillios' resultant beneficial holding is 763,580
representing 0.93 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
