Moneybox plc (the 'Company') received notification on 28 February 2005 that SVG 
Capital plc ('SVG Capital') and funds managed by SVG Investment Managers Limited
('SVG IM') are interested in 18,477,659 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
Company, representing approximately 9.28% of the issued ordinary share capital
in the Company.

These interests represent all the interests of SVG Capital, and funds managed by
SVG IM on behalf of third parties.

The registered holder of 17,067,659 of the above shares in the Company is
Barfield Nominees Limited.

The registered holder of 1,410,000 of the above shares in the Company is Banque
Privee Edmond de Rothschild Europe SA.

By reason of section 203 of the Act, SVG Capital is also taken to be interested
in the above shares, by reason of it being the parent company of SVG IM.
