Moneybox plc (the 'Company') received notification today from Gartmore
Investment Management plc that as a result of a purchase of 2,645,186 shares on
18 March 2005 and a further 67,300 shares on 24 March 2005, Gartmore Investment
Limited ('GIL'), Gartmore Fund Managers Limited ('GFM') and Gartmore Global
Partners ('GGP') have a reportable interest in the shares of the Company.



Following the above purchases, GIL, GFM and GGP are in aggregate interested in
22,589,516 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing
approximately 11.23% of the issued ordinary share capital in the Company.
