Mining Licence Update

Submittal to Ministry of Natural Resources

Amur Minerals Corporation ("Amur" or the "Company"), the nickel-copper exploration and development company focused on base metal projects located in the Far East of Russia, is pleased to announce that the next step to obtaining the "Detailed Exploration and Production Licence" for the Kun-Manie nickel copper sulphide project has been initiated.  On 19 November 2014, Rosnedra forwarded the application to its parent organization, the Ministry of Natural Resources ("MNR") for review.

The project, having obtained approvals as an asset of federal strategic significance from four additional external agencies, has now been submitted to the MNR.  The MNR will review the application and upon approval will forward its recommendation to the government of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev for final authorisation.

With the recent Ministry of Economic Development ("MED") approval and the current submittal to the MNR, forward progress continues in the process of converting a portion of the exploration licence at Kun-Manie to that of a production licence.  The area contains all drilled mineralisation identified during the last 10 years.

Highlights:

·     MNR conducts the final agency review in the license granting process before the application is submitted to the government of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev for ultimate approval.

·     The approval reports by the Federal Antimonopoly Service ("FAS"), Ministry of Defence ("MOD"), the Federal Security Service ("FSB"), and the MED have now been consolidated and Rosnedra's findings have been forwarded for MNR's review.

Robin Young, CEO of Amur Minerals Corporation, commented:

"We are very pleased to be able to inform our shareholders that the mining license conversion process continues to move forward with the support of the Russian authorities and in particular Rosnedra.  We also note that our counterparts in the various Russian agencies continue to demonstrate that they are highly motivated, professional and interested in the successful development of Kun-Manie.  This is discernible in the fact that Rosnedra completed the last round of work in a week.  Both Amur and the Russian Federation's local and national interests are aligned wherein all recognise that the successful granting of the production rights and subsequent development of the project will add greatly to the socio-economic development of the important Far East region."
