                   PRESIDENTIAL RATIFICATION OF LICENCE AWARD


Aminex PLC ("Aminex"), the oil and gas company listed in London and Dublin,
announces that its recently awarded Exploration Licence No. 3108 Manja block,
onshore Madagascar, has now been formally ratified by decree of the President of
Madagascar, with effect from 15 November 2005.
