Aminex PLC ("the Company") announces that it was notified on Friday 31 March
2006 that RAB Capital plc, acting as investment manager for a number of funds,
currently holds 8,261,720 Ordinary Shares of €0.06 each which represents 5.2% of
the issued share capital of the Company.



RAB Capital does not act as custodian for its clients and therefore the shares
are held in the nominee names of the custodians of its clients, which are CSFB
Nominees Ltd and Morgan Stanley & Co International Ltd.
