PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

The Company announces that on 4 January 2012 it purchased 10,311 ordinary shares for cancellation. The price paid was 83.4p per ordinary share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there are 27,864,302 ordinary shares in issue.
