Alumasc, the premium building and engineering products group, proposes to
announce its results for the year ended 30 June 2006 on Wednesday 13 September
2006.

On that day, at 9.30 am, a presentation to broker's analysts and private client
investment advisers will be held at the offices of KBC Peel Hunt, 4th Floor, 111
Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1PH. Those proposing to attend are asked to notify
