                            Director's Shareholding


The Alumasc Group plc announces that it was today informed that Mr Philip Gwyn,
a non-executive Director, has transferred 1,749,605 ordinary shares from HSBC
Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited to Rathbone Nominees Limited.  There is no
change in beneficial ownership and Mr Gwyn's shareholding remains at 3,057,605
ordinary shares, representing 8.78% of the issued ordinary share capital.
