                   THE ALUMASC GROUP PLC - ADDITIONAL LISTING


Application has been made for a block listing of 400,000 new ordinary shares of
12.5 pence each of The Alumasc Group Plc to be admitted to the Official List of
the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. These
shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.

These shares may be allotted as a result of future exercises of options under
The Alumasc Group Executive Share Option Scheme.
