RCM Technology Trust PLC announces that on 4 January 2008 it purchased 40,000
Ordinary 25p Shares (representing 0.17% of the issued class of capital) at 252p
per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 40,000 Ordinary Shares is due on 9
January 2008 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to 23,759,312
Ordinary 25p Shares.

The Company does not currently hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
