                             Annual General Meeting


Finsbury Technology Trust PLC hereby gives notification that, at the Annual
General Meeting of the Company held on 2 April 2003, all the resolutions, as set
out in full in the notice of meeting dated 10 March 2003, were duly passed. One
of the resolutions gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of up
to 4,139,535 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 2
April 2003).
