PEERLESS TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC



The Company announces that it was notified on 23 October 2002 that HSBC Global
Custody Nominee (UK) Limited acquired on 17 October 2002 an interest in an
additional 100,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company resulting in
HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited being interested in aggregate in
650,000 ordinary shares representing 4.359% of the Company's current issued
ordinary share capital.  Intrinsic Value plc is interested in these ordinary
shares for the purposes of Sections 208 and 209 of the Companies Act 1985.
