Launch of the Albion VCTs Top Up Offers 2012/2013

The Board is pleased to announce the launch today of a top up offer (the 'Offer') for Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC (the 'Company') seeking to raise up to £2.5m as part of the Albion VCTs Top Up Offers 2012/2013.

As the maximum amount that can be raised under the Offer (over any 12 month period) will not exceed the lower of 10% of issued share capital and 5m euros, the Company is not required to publish a full prospectus under the Prospectus Rules.

In total, six of the VCTs managed by Albion Ventures LLP are making top up offers seeking to raise up to £15m (the 'Offers').

The proceeds of the Offers will be used to provide useful additional liquidity for the Companies in order to take advantage of appropriate investment opportunities that fall within current VCT legislation, as well as helping fund the Company's annual running costs, market purchases of own shares and the payment of dividends.

The Offers will have a first closing at 12 noon on 19 December 2012, and will close at 12 noon on 5 April 2013 for the tax year ending 5 April 2013 and at 12 noon on 12 June 2013 for the tax year ending 5 April 2014, unless fully subscribed, closed or extended beforehand.
