VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL



In conformity with the Transparency Directive's provisions we would like to
notify the market of the following:



Close Technology & General VCT PLC's capital as at 31 March 2007 consisted of
13,591,015 ordinary shares and 35,479,122 C ordinary shares with voting rights.
Close Technology & General VCT PLC holds 56,611 ordinary shares in Treasury.



Therefore the total number of voting rights in Close Technology & General VCT
PLC is 49,013,526.



The figure of 49,013,526 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Close Technology & General VCT
PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
