Transaction in Own Shares
ALBION TECHNOLOGY & GENERAL VCT PLC
SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
Albion Technology & General VCT PLC announces that it purchased 56,000 Ordinary Shares at 76 pence on 6 December 2011. The shares purchased represent 0.14% of the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction. These shares will be held in treasury.
Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following:
Albion Technology & General VCT PLC's capital as at 6 December 2011 consisted of 43,723,776 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 50p each. Albion Technology & General VCT PLC holds 4,249,372 shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Albion Technology & General VCT PLC is 39,474,404, which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in Albion Technology & General VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
