Total voting rights

ALBIONTECHNOLOGY & GENERAL VCT PLC

VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

In  conformity with  the Transparency  Directive's provisions  we would  like to
notify the market of the following:

Albion Technology & General VCT PLC's capital as at 29 January 2010 consisted of
13,702,045 Ordinary shares and 35,657,472 C Ordinary shares. Albion Technology &
General VCT PLC holds 868,094 Ordinary shares and 995,032 C shares in Treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in Albion Technology & General VCT
PLC is 47,496,391.

The  figure of 47,496,391 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations  by which they will determine if  they are required to notify their
interest  in, or a change to their  interest in, Albion Technology & General VCT
PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
