                     Amendment to previous announcements                      

Shares allotted under the Offers for Subscription subsequent to the first
closing of 16 January 2001 will rank for 50 per cent of the interim dividend
for the six months to 30 June 2001.  Previous announcements had stated that
they would not rank for the interim dividend which was incorrect.
