The board of Close Brothers Development VCT PLC announces that the unaudited NAV
per share at 31 October 2006 was 96.9p per Ordinary share and 103.2p per C
share.



The Board also declares a second interim dividend of 2 pence per Ordinary share
(consisting of revenue only) and 3 pence per C share (consisting of 2.15p
revenue and 0.85p capital).  The dividends will be paid on 21 December 2006 to
those shareholders on the register on 8 December 2006.
