Albion Development VCT PLC - Ordinary Shares : Transaction in Own Shares

ALBION DEVELOPMENT VCT PLC

SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

Albion Development VCT PLC announces that it has purchased 334,000 Ordinary shares on the 16 April 2012 at a price of 63 pence per share. The Ordinary shares purchased represent 0.9% of the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction. These shares will be cancelled.

Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following:

Albion Development VCT PLC's capital today consists of 35,373,386 Ordinary shares and 6,352,652 D shares, both with a nominal value of 50p each. The Company holds 3,428,000 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the number of voting rights in Albion Development VCT PLC are 31,945,386 in respect of Ordinary shares and 6,352,652 in respect of D shares giving the total voting rights of 38,298,038 .These figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in Albion Development VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
