Alba, which has exercised an option to farm into 5 per cent of UK Production Licence 235 (PL235) ("Brockham") in the Weald Basin, notes with interest the announcement made today by Doriemus plc, a company admitted to ISDX and which has a 10% interest in Brockham, as to the results of an independent assessment by Nutech Ltd, a petrophysical analysis and reservoir intelligence company, of the Brockham-1 well (the "Nutech Report").

Alba has not made any independent inquiries as to the accuracy or completeness of the press release issued by Doriemus Plc.  The board of Alba accepts no responsibility for the contents of the Nutech Report.

Alba holds a 15 per cent interest in Horse Hill Developments Limited, the company which has a 65 per cent participating interest and operatorship of the Horse Hill oil and gas project (licences PEDL 137 and PEDL 246) in the UK Weald Basin.
