Completion of Air China Transaction

This announcement is issued by Air China Limited (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Reference is made to the joint announcement issued by the Company, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited ("Cathay Pacific"), CITIC Pacific Limited and Swire Pacific Limited on 17 August 2009 (the "Joint Announcement"). Terms defined in the Joint Announcement have the same meanings when used in this announcement.

The Air China Transaction was completed on 27 November 2009. Following the completion of the Air China Transaction, the Company's shareholding in Cathay Pacific has increased to 1,179,759,987 shares, representing approximately 29.99% of the issued share capital of Cathay Pacific.
