Announcement

This announcement is made by Air China Limited (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules").

Reference is made to the circular of the Company dated 6 November 2009 in relation to the continuing connected transactions (the "Circular"). The Company entered into a financial services agreement (the "Financial Services Agreement") with China National Aviation Finance Co., Ltd. (the "CNAF") on 27 October 2009 in respect of the provision of financial services by CNAF to the Company. As disclosed in the Circular, the maximum daily balance of deposits placed by the Company with CNAF under the Financial Services Agreement shall be RMB7 billion. However, based on the Company's actual requirement for its operations and development, the Company now undertakes that under the Financial Services Agreement, the maximum daily balance of deposits placed by the Company and its subsidiaries with CNAF will not exceed RMB4 billion.
