Amino Technologies PLC 24 January 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 24 January 2008 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC BOARD CHANGES Amino Technologies plc ('Amino' or 'the Company'; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadband network software and systems company, is pleased to announce the appointment today of Peter Murphy as a non-executive Director. Mr Murphy, aged 51, is a Chartered Accountant with considerable experience within the technology and consumer industries. He is a non-executive director of Lionhead Group Ltd., a computer games and IT business, where for four years to mid-2006, he was Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer, finally overseeing the successful sale of the business to Microsoft. Prior to that, for seven years he was CFO and Business Operations Director at Camelot Group Ltd., the UK National Lottery Operator. Earlier career appointments included De La Rue's Currency Division and Price Waterhouse. Olivier Hopkes, a non-executive Director since October 2006 is stepping down today from the Board. Keith Todd, Amino's Chairman, said: 'We are pleased to welcome Peter Murphy to Amino's Board. He will be able to bring to bear his extensive experience of finance, operations and the IT industry. 'The Board would like to thank Olivier Hopkes for the considerable contribution he has made to the Company as a non-executive Director over the past 15 months.'
